This manufacturing plant produces “Radio Frequency Identification”(RFID) tags for retail and supply chain use. The RFID tags consist of a small integrated circuit attached to a metallic antenna printed on a label. The RFID tags allow wireless identification of the items to which they are attached.
This is the world’s first mass-scale manufacturing plant for this type of new technology. The building is constructed of precast concrete and curtain wall glazing. The open nature of the floor plan allows flexibility and versatility for the developments yet to be designed for this technology.
