Courts Plus Community Fitness

Courts Plus is a regional indoor tennis and fitness center that needed an update. It had a complex construction schedule of new building portions as well as remodeling existing portions while in operation, and it included several meeting areas for coaching and team collaboration. The challenge was to address the issues and keep the facility open and running at all times. The solution was to break up the project into five phases and safely route members and guests throughout the facility during each construction phase. The project consisted of adding firewalls and a fire suppression system to the existing facility as well as adding fresh new finishes to the exercise spaces, locker rooms, and tennis courts. The remodeled lobby consisted of the addition of a smoothie bar, observation tables, and a totally revamped pro shop. The addition to the facility is the crown jewel. It consists of new office spaces, a group fitness room, childcare, and a 2,200 square foot play area housing a seven-level play structure with two adjacent party rooms that double as community education spaces.
