Our Architecture and Interiors teams were engaged to reimagine 9,200 square feet of existing industrial space in the Minneapolis metro area, transforming it into a high-performing office and shop environment tailored to the client’s operational needs. The renovation included the first floor and mezzanine levels, featuring an open office collaboration zone, a flexible breakroom/training room, and fully upgraded restrooms. The design strikes a balance between the durability required for industrial use and the comfort of a modern office. Industrial- grade finishes were specified for longevity, while biophilic design elements were introduced throughout to foster a strong connection to nature and enhance employee well-being. Warm wood-toned tile accents were used in the restrooms and furnishings to soften the space, while high-performance walk-off carpet—designed to withstand heavy use—was installed at both the customer and truck driver entrances. These areas serve as key transition points where logistics teams plan their next routes. Our team also provided full construction administration services, from bid review through project completion, ensuring the client’s expectations for quality, durability, and design integrity were upheld throughout the process.
